About the Project

This beautiful home in Lafayette, New York belongs to Bob, Mara and the friendliest yellow lab you’ll ever meet: Abby! Bob has spent his entire career in Construction Management and he even built this house himself! He was very cautious about pursuing a solar installation because he was worried about the potential for leaks. On a site visit, Steve Nickels showed Bob the roof attachments and explained how these products have been engineered to prevent leaks. When Bob got his hands on the product, he realized that he had nothing to worry about. Although the property is gorgeous, there is one challenge: the home runs only on electricity! As a result, their utility bills were getting way out of hand. This solar installation results in NO ELECTRIC BILL from April through November! It was a pleasure working with Bob, Mara, Abby and the ducks, too!
